mini solar air-conditioner (a.k.a swamp cooler) - portable swamp cooler air conditioner
Here is a note that it should cost less than $5 to make a simple, cheap, energy-efficient air conditioner with basic materials.
Its working principle is to evaporate water in the air conditioner (air-conditioner)
Take away the heat and make the interior cold.
The fan sucks in the air through the air conditioner to make the air cold.
The warmer it is, the more effective this air conditioner will be.
Your wallet is easy too!
The material is :-
Popsicles (about 20)-
Computer cooling fan-
Solar panels, batteries, or other low-voltage power supplies-
Absorb good clothscissors-
Hot glue and glue gun-
WaterYou can get the cooling fan free of charge from the computer repair shop and in the power supply.
Once you find the right one (
Bigger and better)
Stick six popsicles, as shown in the following figure.
You can trim the round head with scissors if you like.
Now cut out a few cloth that absorbs well (
Towels, linen. . . )
Like a picture below, then cut four or more popsicles with scissors so that it is the same size as the base width.
Stick the cloth strips on the cut popsicle.
Then stick to it like the main picture.
Stick the other stick to the opposite side and stick the cloth to it.
The picture below is an example.
Stick these together (
Picture at the bottom).
Then stick the two popsicles together in the first step, just like the popsicles behind the two.
Stick it on top like the picture shows, and then put another stick of the base width size on the other side.
Wear the cloth over and stick it on the stick.
If you still have the extra cloth, stick it on both sides.
Remember: the more fabric, the better if there is easy airflow around.
That's a mini solar air conditioner! Ugly but works.
Add water to the cloth with a spoon until it's all wet and power it up with a solar panel (
One or two watts)
Battery or low voltage power supply to cool your house.
Do a few of these or massive ones in the summer to lower your electricity bill.
Take a look at my other photo and see if there is an electric fire.
