Companies and educational institutions in Ontario have signed a $1 agreement.
During a trade visit by Prime Minister Catherine Wayne, 7 billion new contracts were signed with China.
In terms of the value of the agreement signed by the Ontario delegation, Wayne's recent trip to China has surpassed last year.
In October 2014, 25 provincial enterprises and universities received $0. 966 billion in new Chinese investment in Ontario, which the government said would create 1,795 new jobs in Ontario.
"My second China mission has brought impressive results to people and businesses in Ontario," Wynne said in a statement . ".
On Monday, the prime minister said in Shanghai that a deal worth more than $0. 5 billion had been reached with Chinese partners.
"The agreement reached in Shanghai will consolidate our success in the global market by expanding relationships with Chinese scientists, researchers, academics and businesses," she said . ".
"Throughout the mission, we will continue to look at ways Ontario and China can build partnerships and learn from each other.
In Monday's deal, Yongxin Group Canada reached an agreement of $0. 21 billion to import Canadian food and nutrition products to China.
In another $50 million deal, Wanjin will also set up an exhibition center in China to promote its products and import fresh products from Ontario.
College Street company Kinetica has signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai leading power engineering to sell vibration mitigation technology to engineers, architects and owners.
This could result in sales of $50 million a year.
The new educational partnership between the Canadian Academy of International Studies in North York and the Shanghai United Media Group is valued at $25 million.
The Children's Hospital of Toronto and the Children's Hospital of Fudan University have agreed to work together on the neonatal program.
Wayne announced $1 in Nanjing on Friday.
