how air conditioners work - how to make air cooler at home
The various parts of the air conditioner before we deal with the unique parts that make up the standard air conditioner, let's not talk about some housework topics first.
The biggest job of air conditioning is to cool the indoor air.
This is not all about it, though.
The air conditioner monitors and adjusts the air temperature through a thermostat.
They also have an on-board filter that removes air particles from the circulating air.
The air conditioner is a dehumidifier.
Because temperature is a key component of relative humidity, lowering the temperature of the volume of wet air causes it to release a portion of its moisture.
That's why there's drain and moisture.
Collect pots near or connected to the air conditioner, and why the air conditioner discharges water while running on wet days.
Nevertheless, the main components of the air conditioner manage the refrigerant and move the air in two directions: Indoor and Outdoor: the cold side of the air conditioner contains an evaporator and a fan, the fan blows the air to the cold coil and enters the room.
The hot side contains the compressor, condenser and another fan for discharging the compressed refrigerant out of the hot air outside.
There is an expansion valve between the two sets of coils.
It regulates the amount of compressed liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator.
Once in the evaporator, the refrigerant goes through the pressure drop, expands and changes back to the gas.
The compressor is actually a large electric pump that will pressurize the refrigerant gas as part of the process of converting the refrigerant gas into a liquid.
There are also some sensors, timers and valves, but the evaporator, compressor, condenser and expansion valve are the main components of the air conditioner.
Although this is the regular setting for the air conditioner, you should know some changes.
The window air conditioner installs all of these components in a relatively small metal box that is installed in the window opening.
When the condenser coil and fan cool and cool again, hot air is discharged from the back of the unit
Indoor air circulation.
The larger air conditioner works slightly differently: the central air conditioner shares a control thermostat with the home heating system, and the compressor and condenser are the thermal side of the unit, not even in the house.
It's in a separate
Weather house outside.
In very large buildings such as hotels and hospitals, the external condensate is usually installed somewhere on the roof.
