Direction Special equipment: a 6-
Quart instant pot®Set up a rack at the bottom of 6-
Quart instant pot®Add 3 glasses of water.
Pile the potatoes on the shelf.
Lock the lid and prepare the cooking according to the manufacturer's guide.
Set to high pressure cooking for 15 minutes.
After pressing-
The cooking cycle is completed, the heat is turned off and the steam is naturally released for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, let any residual steam out as per the manufacturer's steam release guidelines.
Take care of any remaining steam, open the lid and remove the lid;
Transfer the potatoes into a large bowl. Add the half-and-
Half, butter, sour cream, salt and pepper.
Mash with potatoes until the desired texture and smoothness is reached.
Season with extra salt and pepper if needed.
